About this role
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our R&D Graphics Solutions team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world challenges in polymer chemistry, process optimization, or material characterization. The role starts 01.10.2026 for 6-9 months at 5 days per week.
You will assist with planning, execution, and monitoring of technical projects while conducting research and data analysis. Daily work includes contributing to polymer formulations and chemical process optimization in an industrial setting. Time splits between the Alphen office and European HQ.
You will work alongside experienced professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Active participation in team meetings supports ongoing project objectives and problem-solving discussions. The environment emphasizes real responsibility within a global materials science company.

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to organize tasks, manage timelines, and contribute to project deliverables.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a methodical approach to challenges.
Responsibilities
