FUJIFILM Ultra-Pure Solutions, Inc. is a global leader in chemical solutions enabling the semiconductor industry. The QA Chemist II performs analytical testing on raw materials and finished products for composition and impurities. This role records quality results at our Carrollton, Texas facility.

Daily tasks include testing and approving raw materials, intermediates, and final products using lab equipment like GC, Karl Fischer titration, ICP-MS, and NVR. Complete and issue Certificates of Analysis. Investigate out-of-specification results and review process control charts.

Respond to deviations by assessing impact on product safety and quality. Perform instrument validation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance. Maintain laboratory upkeep, cleaning, waste disposal, and gas systems in a cross-functional team environment.

Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and complying with legal regulations. Develop, review, and update laboratory documents and procedures. Join state-of-the-art facilities supporting top-tier semiconductor manufacturers worldwide.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Chemical degree and minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the semiconductor or related field or in a production laboratory environment or master’s degree with 2 years of experience; PhD will also be considered
  • Instrumentation and analytical skills experience preferred - wet chemistry techniques, UV-Vis, GC/FID/TCD, IC, HPLC, GFAA, ICP/OES, ICP/MS, FTIR, GC/MS, and liquid particle counters
  • Ability to multi-task and handle change in priorities
  • Strong organization skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to function effectively as part of a cross functional team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and statistical software tools)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to speak Korean is a plus
