You will implement best practices for chemical analysis, develop new test methods, and troubleshoot test processes in the laboratory. Provide analytical support to manufacturing business units and guidance to laboratory technicians. Manage quality control programs and handle customer feedback on quality matters.
Work within ExxonMobil's Singapore hub, employing 3,500 people across operations, projects, and commercial functions. Participate in maintaining the laboratory quality management system and coordinating compliance activities. Assess risks on lab systems to develop maintenance strategies in a world-scale facility.

Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field
- PhD in Chemistry or related field welcome
- Up to ten (10) years' experience
- Prior experience in petrochemical, refining, and polymer industry advantageous
- Experience implementing chemical analysis best practices
- Knowledge of laboratory quality management systems
- Familiarity with analytical equipment validation and test method development
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain best practices for chemical analysis
- Develop new test methods and troubleshoot test processes
- Provide guidance to laboratory technicians and analytical support to manufacturing business units
- Participate in maintenance and continuous improvements of the laboratory quality management system
- Assess test methods and conduct chemistry training for laboratory technicians
- Manage quality control programs in the laboratory
- Perform risk assessments on laboratory systems to develop maintenance and replacement strategies
- Evaluate, validate, and commission new analytical equipment
