About this role

Reporting to the QA Manager, the QC Chemist provides technical support regarding the chemistry of products, adherence to quality specifications, and compliance to safety, regulatory and environmental rules and regulations. Provide daily production support including testing, adjusting and disposition of raw materials, products and packaging. Employ safe work habits and comply with all applicable safety requirements. This ensures overall quality and safety of products produced and distributed from the Sharonville Plant.

Work closely with Quality Assurance, Plant Management, Production Teams and EHS. Provide technical support with regards to waste minimization, environmental compliance, and timely disposition of returns, discrepant product and materials. Collaborate across departments to maintain high standards.

Utilize SPC methods in data collection, root cause analysis, corrective/preventive action effectiveness and cost saving/avoidance analysis. Take a leadership role in all Quality Assurance matters. Handle any other responsibilities delegated by the Quality Assurance Manager.

Requirements

  • One to three years of wet chemistry testing experience
  • Statistical Process Control, Data Analysis, PC skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities specifically in technical matters
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel at multiple locations
  • Ability to take a leadership role in all Quality Assurance matters
  • Ability to excel in a team environment
