About this role

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our R&D Graphics Solutions team. This internship provides a unique opportunity applying academic knowledge to real-world challenges in polymer chemistry, process optimization, and material characterization.

The internship is scheduled to start on 01.10.2026 for a duration of 6-9 months. The role requires a commitment of 5 days per week and is fully on-site, based primarily at our Alphen office (70%) with the remaining 30% spent at our European HQ.

You will assist with planning, execution, and monitoring of technical projects while conducting research and data analysis. You will contribute to the development and optimization of polymer formulations and chemical processes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and actively participate in team meetings to support problem-solving discussions. The position offers real responsibility within a global materials science company operating in over 50 countries.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to organize tasks, manage timelines, and contribute to project deliverables.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a methodical approach to challenges.
