QA Chemist III

The QA Chemist III ensures quality control and assurance for the KCPP product line at the plant. Key responsibilities include calculating material additions to batches based on test results and assisting with batch troubleshooting. This role also involves performing special tests on lab-prepared samples and customer complaint samples.

Daily tasks encompass conducting routine synthesis or testing for analytical, performance, and physical properties. Responsibilities extend to performing QC/QA on KCPP products, calibrations on lab machinery, and generating standards. After-hours support is provided when needed for the product line.

The position serves as a focal point between KCPP and Tremco for QC/QA, facilitating communication between labs and teams. It supports Operations, Engineering, and Logistics with KCPP product line needs. Collaboration with Tremco optimizes supply chain and manufacturing schedules.

Under minimal supervision, the role involves conducting research on product improvements and new developments. Compile, analyze, and correlate technical data to write timely reports. Work with research management to formulate goals aligned with executive initiatives.
