About this role

Eurofins is seeking a detail-oriented Bioanalytical Chemist to perform analytical testing of protein and small molecule therapeutics. This role focuses heavily on liquid chromatography (LC) and capillary electrophoresis techniques, including iCE and CGE.

In this hands-on position, you will independently operate and troubleshoot instrumentation such as LC systems, iCE, CGE, UV-Vis, and pH equipment. Daily work includes preparing samples, standards, and reagents, executing routine and non-routine analytical testing, and performing instrument maintenance and calibration.

You will work in a GMP-regulated environment, accurately documenting all testing activities and results within LIMS and cGMP systems. The role supports general laboratory operations and continuous improvement efforts within a global leader in analytical testing services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related scientific discipline
  • 2–6 years of hands-on analytical or bioanalytical laboratory experience
  • Experience with LC and/or capillary electrophoresis (iCE, CGE strongly preferred)
  • Familiarity with GMP environments and documentation practices
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Experience with protein characterization / biologics analysis (preferred)
  • Familiarity with CEX (cation exchange chromatography) or related separation techniques (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Perform bioanalytical testing using LC and capillary electrophoresis methods (iCE, CGE)
  • Independently operate and troubleshoot instrumentation including LC systems, iCE, CGE, UV-Vis, and pH instrumentation
  • Prepare samples, standards, and reagents for analysis
  • Execute routine and non-routine analytical testing following established procedures
  • Perform instrument maintenance and calibration
  • Accurately document testing activities and results within LIMS and cGMP systems
  • Support general laboratory operations and continuous improvement efforts
