About this role
The Analyst II is responsible for prepping and running stability samples for various routine methods, such as assay and degradants. Instrumentation includes HPLC and GC with wet lab experience. This work is executed through electronic notebooking in a GMP environment.
Daily tasks involve preparing equipment for testing using prescribed standards and specifications. Perform HPLC and GC on routine samples, along with physical testing methods including pH, specific gravity, and water activity. Conduct pipetting, serial dilutions using volumetric glassware, and utilize microbalance and analytical balance.
Adhere to standards for test methods and SOPs, perform quality and safety checks on samples prior to testing. Accurately report and record test data in electronic or handwritten notebooks. Maintain supplies, lab cleanliness, analytical instrumentation, prepare stock solutions, and keep shelves and reagents stocked.
Follow guidelines set forth by clients and Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services Quality Manual, Safety and Chemical Hygiene Plan. Work with sensitive materials that require medical surveillance. Undertake other duties as defined by manager, department needs, and workload.
Requirements
- Knowledge of GMP regulations
- Written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively in a group setting, with colleagues and clients
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Windows, Word and Excel
- Attention to detail
- Technical problem solving and process improvement skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience with HPLC or GC
