About this role

This role offers the opportunity to apply advanced analytical chemistry expertise in a regulated laboratory environment supporting Product Development projects. As a Research Chemist II, you will contribute hands-on scientific insight, mentor others, and play a key role in delivering high-quality data that supports drug development and innovation.

Plan, design, and execute scientific assignments and experiments supporting Product Development initiatives. Provide scientific and technical accountability for project-level deliverables. Collect, analyze, and interpret analytical data while preparing reports, protocols, SOPs, and internal guidance documents.

Apply hands-on expertise with analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, dissolution, FTIR, DSC, TGA, and KF to support method execution and improvement. Identify atypical results, contribute to investigations, and help define corrective actions. Ensure laboratory compliance with cGMPs, safety standards, SOPs, and inspection readiness.

Requirements

  • Experience in analytical chemistry within pharmaceutical or drug development environments
  • Strong hands-on HPLC experience (method execution, troubleshooting, and data interpretation strongly preferred)
  • Ability to independently execute experiments, analyze data, and support project deliverables
  • Experience authoring and reviewing technical documentation in a regulated setting
  • Strong understanding of laboratory safety, compliance, and data integrity expectations
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
