The purpose aligns with university guidelines to obtain a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Chemical Engineering. Duties and responsibilities will be assigned by the mentor or coach. Assignments follow the training institution's requirements where possible.

Requirements
- Completed all theoretical modules of a National Diploma in Chemical Engineering
- Good understanding and knowledge of basic chemical engineering concepts
- Medically fit for BMR and or PMR
- Attach CV with copies of ID, Matric certificate, and statement of results
- Provide letter from higher institution confirming theoretical subjects completed
Responsibilities
- Receive specific duties assigned by mentor or coach
- Follow training institution's requirements for tasks
- Gain practical experience in analytical chemistry processes
- Assist with sample analysis in refinery laboratory settings
- Support chemical engineering operations under supervision
- Participate in practical modules aligned with diploma curriculum
- Contribute to daily analytical testing in platinum refining
