Within our OLED Chemistry organization, we engage in research and development of new materials for OLED devices leading to next-generation displays. Our R&D footprint encompasses nearly 100,000 square feet of laboratory and manufacturing space in New Castle and Wilmington, DE.
The Research Chemist works with the analytical and thermal group of the production development team at our New Castle, DE facility. This role focuses on analytical quality control of state-of-the-art phosphorescent OLED research materials using chromatography. Responsibilities include analyzing, identifying impurities, and communicating results through reporting and team discussions.

Requirements
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience, including internship, undergraduate research, or industrial setting
- Strong background in analytical chemistry
- Gas chromatography, liquid chromatography and/or mass spectroscopy experience strongly desired
- Knowledge of or experience with organometallics, organic electronics, and/or small molecule purity analysis
- Experienced in developing and optimizing LCMS methods for analytical purposes
- Ability to perform and succeed in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with peers and management
- Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems in an efficient, proactive manner
Responsibilities
- Conduct purity assessments of OLED materials
- Utilize techniques such as HPLC, GCMS, LCMS, MALDI, and related methods to analyze purity levels and identify impurities
- Perform data entry and tracking of samples
- Maintain and upkeep laboratory equipment
- Manage inventory of OLED retain samples
- Undertake additional projects at the direction of leader
- Handle additional responsibilities as required
