About this role

The QC Chemistry Lab Technician III performs laboratory testing within a fast-paced GMP environment. Supports areas including raw materials, environmental monitoring, in-process product, final bulk product, stability, and validation. Analyzes test data and evaluates results while working under supervisor guidance.

Performs test methods as written to support product and material release. Executes a multitude of laboratory techniques for which trained, with minimal error. Manages time efficiently to achieve timely completion of assigned duties.

Maintains a safe work environment for self and others in accordance with procedural requirements. Understands, implements, and maintains GMP with respect to laboratory records, procedures, and systems. Accepts responsibility to complete tasks as committed and works with others to accomplish business objectives.

Revises procedures as necessary and provides support for the department. Supports investigations to ensure quality standards. Writes procedures with guidance, contributing to ongoing improvements in the QC lab.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Biology or equivalent science degree with <2 years pertinent experience
  • High School Diploma with 2+ years combined experience in Manufacturing, QA, QC, R&D in pharmaceutical or biologics industry
  • Maintains certifications as needed for assigned job tasks
  • One (1) Year of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing chemistry lab or similar laboratory experience (preferred)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills; Experience with LIMS, QMS and Trackwise preferred
  • Experience working in a GMP regulated environment preferred
