The primary function is to test and release raw materials, sub-assemblies, or finished goods. Perform routine testing using GMP/GLP practices, including HPLC, UV/Vis, and mass spectroscopy. Conduct data analysis and interpret results against specifications and alert limits.

Maintain product and QC material inventories, plus lab and equipment cleanliness. Revise QC documents like SOPs and QSs, participate in investigations. Train QC analysts on test methods in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

Working knowledge of GMP/GLP
Intermediate computer skills
Attention to detail
B.A. or B.S. in a Biological Science or Chemistry
0 to 2 years experience

Responsibilities

Performs routine testing including release testing, performance testing, analytical testing using GMP/GLP practices, such as HPLC, UV/Vis, mass spectroscopy
Performs data analysis and results interpretations comparing to specifications, validity criteria, alert limits
Maintains product and QC material inventories
Maintains and cleans the laboratory, stocking shelves/drawers with testing materials
Maintains and cleans equipment, calibrating or submitting items for calibration as needed
Completes training in a timely manner and maintains records
Revises QC documents including SOPs and QSs
Participates in lab investigations and out-of-specification investigations
Trains QC analysts on test methods
