About this role
We are seeking exceptional candidates to join our faculty in the Physical Sciences and Engineering Division to lead pioneering research in polymer chemistry. This includes the design, synthesis, and characterization of well-defined polymers with diverse macromolecular architectures. Ideal candidates will address these topics through a multi-disciplinary approach.
Candidates must engage with different programs and research initiatives across university divisions. Research proposals should align with UN Sustainable Development Goals and Saudi Vision 2030. They must emphasize KAUST's Research, Development, and Innovation priorities like Health & Wellness, Sustainable Environment, Energy, and Economies of the Future.
KAUST is an international graduate research university on the Red Sea shores, advancing science through interdisciplinary research, education, and innovation. Requirements
- Relevant Ph.D. degree in polymer-related chemistry or engineering
- Demonstrated track record in managing rigorous research projects
- Proven record of publishing impactful papers
- Readiness for multi-disciplinary research approaches

- Commitment to high-quality graduate-level teaching
- Active involvement in university service
