About this role
Are you passionate about developing advanced polymeric materials for electrochemical energy storage and conversion, including batteries, fuel cells, and electrolyzers, to contribute to net-zero carbon emissions? The group of Prof. Anqi Wang at KAUST is recruiting several postdocs for highly collaborative, interdisciplinary research in organic and polymer chemistry, membrane science, and electrochemistry.
You will independently lead a research direction, focusing on function-led design and synthesis of microporous polymers for energy applications. Starting with defined projects, conduct experiments and process data while working closely with team members and collaborators. Explore your own scientific pursuits and passions within the dynamic team environment.
Our research draws on complementary specialisms in polymer chemistry, membrane engineering, and electrochemical engineering. Join a team that emphasizes microporous materials and their applications in electrochemical processes. Benefit from freedom to pursue interests at the forefront of living polymerization, microporous materials, and electrochemical technologies.
KAUST offers a highly competitive salary, free housing, and subsidized medical insurance. For more about living and working at KAUST, visit their site. Enthusiastic candidates with polymer knowledge and specific skills are encouraged to apply.
