The Scientist III role provides hands-on support for analytical chemistry activities focused on drug product. Daily work centers on chromatographic analysis using UPLC HPLC and GC techniques together with FTIR and UV-VIS spectroscopic methods while performing routine assay and impurity testing.
You will work onsite at the client location in Rahway NJ as a full-time Parexel FSP employee on long-term assignment. The environment requires strong organization to manage multiple ongoing projects in parallel along with routine data processing and interpretation.
Parexel FSP supplies qualified technical professionals to pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies supporting the development and delivery of new therapies. This is an opportunity to apply specialized analytical skills in a results-driven setting where patients remain at the center of the work.
Requirements
- Strong computer scientific and organizational skills
- Excellent organization to multi-task and manage multiple ongoing projects in parallel including routine testing and data processing
- Excellent communication oral and written and attention to detail
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Hands-on experience with chromatographic analysis using UPLC HPLC and GC
- Experience with Empower chromatographic software and analysis of drug formulations
- Hands-on experience with FTIR and UV-VIS spectroscopic analysis
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate general understanding of analytical method development and method validation
- Perform hands-on chromatographic analysis using UPLC HPLC and GC techniques
- Apply general knowledge of separations science to drug product samples
- Utilize Empower chromatographic software for analysis of drug formulations
- Conduct FTIR spectroscopic analysis and UV-VIS spectroscopic analysis
- Troubleshoot methods and instruments specifically for HPLC and GC systems
