Requirements
- Strong fundamentals in a scientific discipline (physics, chemistry, biology, materials)
- Experience with phase change materials and/or polymer synthesis
- Demonstrations of exceptional ability and autonomy in past work
- 3+ years experience or graduate level in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or equivalent
- Experience with fluorinated fluids and polymers
- Excited to build the future through innovative materials science
Responsibilities
- Develop phase change materials for biological pause applications
- Synthesize and optimize polymers for advanced engineering systems
- Design materials integrating electrical, mechanical, and chemical properties
- Apply first principles thinking to full stack engineering challenges
- Conduct autonomous projects from concept to implementation
- Characterize fluorinated fluids and polymers for performance
- Collaborate on moonshot projects enabling medical hibernation and space exploration
