About this role

Eurofins is seeking a detail-oriented HPLC / UPLC Analytical Chemist to support bioanalytical testing of protein and small molecule therapeutics. This role suits candidates with strong chromatography experience who can operate independently in a regulated laboratory environment.

The position involves performing analytical testing using RP-HPLC, RP-UPLC, and UV-Vis spectroscopy. Daily work includes preparing samples, standards, and reagents with minimal supervision while executing routine testing and maintaining compliant documentation.

Work takes place in a cGMP-regulated lab supporting the world’s leading organizations. The role requires accurate record-keeping in LIMS, routine instrument maintenance, and adherence to established laboratory organization and operational standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related scientific field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–6 years of hands-on analytical chemistry experience with HPLC/UPLC
  • Experience with chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Experience with iCE (imaged capillary electrophoresis) preferred
  • Familiarity with CEX (cation exchange chromatography) or similar separation methods preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform analytical testing of protein and small molecule therapeutics using chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques
  • Operate and troubleshoot instrumentation including RP-HPLC, RP-UPLC, and UV-Vis spectroscopy
  • Prepare samples, standards, and reagents for analysis with minimal supervision
  • Execute routine testing and ensure accurate, compliant documentation of results
  • Perform routine and monthly maintenance on analytical instrumentation
  • Support laboratory organization and day-to-day operations
  • Adhere to cGMP guidelines and maintain accurate records in LIMS
