About this role
Eurofins CDMO Alphora develops and manufactures new therapeutics for global pharmaceutical and biotech clients. The organization supplies contract research and development services that advance processes for active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished dosage products including tablets, capsules, and suspensions.
As Senior Research Chemist you will lead analytical activities that support drug product development and GMP operations across the full product lifecycle. Responsibilities center on method development, transfer, phase-appropriate validation, QC release testing, stability programs, and OOS/OOT investigations.

Requirements
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry
- Hands-on experience with analytical method development and validation in a GMP setting
- Proficiency with HPLC, GC, KF, and related instrumentation
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, GLP, and ICH guidelines
- Experience authoring GMP documentation and conducting OOS/OOT investigations
- Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation and support stability and release testing programs
Responsibilities
- Lead analytical method development, transfer, and validation for oral drug products
- Support QC release testing, stability studies, and investigations including OOT/OOS/Deviations
- Author and review GMP documentation including methods, specifications, protocols, and SOPs
- Troubleshoot and maintain analytical instruments including HPLC, GC, and KF
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, and regulatory guidelines including ICH
- Foster a safe, compliant, and high-performing laboratory environment
- Mentor or supervise junior team members as needed
