The Analytical QC Specialist provides support for E-grade/Semiconductor chemicals business. Perform non-routine and complex analyses for production and non-production samples using ICP-MS. Evaluate and apply new or improved analytical systems for E-grade/Semiconductor chemicals. Provide support for Quality Systems, including complex calibration, maintenance, and in-depth troubleshooting of analytical systems.
Reports to the Quality Manager and follows EH&S, Operating Discipline, and Quality Systems procedures. Serve as ICP-MS SME with ownership of equipment and PM program. Take part in E-grade business discussions, internal and external, and assist with investigations using root cause analysis tools.

Requirements
- 5+ years analytical lab experience
- ICP-MS method development required; Agilent 8900 QQQ and Masshunter experience a plus
- Semiconductor chemical industry experience preferred
- JMP, Minitab, or other statistical analysis software experience
- Ability to perform complex calibration and maintenance of analytical systems
- Ability to perform in-depth troubleshooting of analytical systems
Responsibilities
- Serve as ICP-MS SME with ownership of supporting equipment and PM program
- Develop and qualify new ICP-MS methods
- Conduct metals analyses of E-grade samples using ICP-MS
- Train technicians on ICP-MS
- Perform qualifications on new and existing instruments meeting semiconductor industry standards, including Gage R&R
- Document, communicate, and archive in-house and 3rd party metals results
- Create and review SQC charts
- Assist with E-grade investigations and production problems using root cause analysis tools
