As an Analytical Chemist, execute and interpret complex procedures and protocols within a project or goal. Be a self-starter who takes initiative, works independently, and collaborates within Nestlé Purina Analytics Laboratories. Learn method development, make process improvements, draft standard operating procedures, and mentor team members.
Prepare and interpret reports of complex experiments while following established methods to deliver timely results. Perform analytical equipment validation, routine calibration, and preventive maintenance at required intervals. Assist in development and validation of analytical methods in support of projects and aid in experiments.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field
- 3+ years of analytical lab or industry experience
- Analytical instrumentation experience
- Troubleshooting of assay and equipment issues
- 2+ years of experience with chromatography and/or mass spectrometry (HPLC, GC, GCMS, LCMS, etc.)
- 1+ years of experience working in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory preferred
