
About this role

As a Bioanalytical Scientist, you will join the BioAnalytics team responsible for analysing chemical residues in animal samples to support study outcomes. You will work closely with Study Directors to evaluate compound behaviour, including pharmacokinetics and residue, while ensuring compliance with GLP standards.
Your day-to-day involves analysing biological samples using approved methods like LC-MS/MS, validating analytical methods for compounds in biological samples, and conducting studies per VICH GCP and OECD GLP guidelines. You will maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and systems. Accurate recording, evaluation, and reporting of analytical data are essential.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an analytical laboratory environment
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in chromatographic instrumentation/data interpretation
- Experience with LC-MS/MS and modern chromatographic techniques
- Familiarity with GLP, GCP, and GxP regulatory requirements
- Experience using LIMS systems (e.g., Watson LIMS, Analyst) and project management tools
Responsibilities
- Analyse biological samples using approved analytical methods (e.g., LC-MS/MS), including interpretation and documentation of results
- Validate analytical methods for compounds in biological samples
- Conduct studies in accordance with VICH GCP and OECD GLP guidelines
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and analytical systems
- Ensure accurate recording, evaluation, and reporting of analytical data
