Process Development Chemist - Process Chemistry R&D

We are looking for a talented synthetic organic chemist to join Process Chemistry R&D. This role offers unique synthetic challenges with impact on projects from discovery to commercial implementation of small molecule Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API). You will play a key role supporting Lundbeck’s development pipeline for CNS diseases.

As process development chemist, you will join a dynamic team enabling progression of Lundbeck’s rapidly expanding pipeline. You will engage in route scouting to scale-up of chemical processes under cGMP and transfer to commercial production. Key tasks include developing synthetic strategies and coordinating with external CMOs.

Process Chemistry R&D is part of the CMC organization, scaling up and implementing GMP manufacture of novel APIs internally or at CMOs. The team fosters strong collaboration under challenging timelines using facilities in Lumsås and Valby. This position is located at Lumsås with some travel to Valby.
