Requirements

Currently enrolled in or having completed a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in natural product chemistry, process chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related chemistry field
Hands-on proficiency in extraction and isolation techniques such as flash chromatography, HPLC, or prep-HPLC, and a strong foundation in organic or natural products chemistry
Finds satisfaction in rigorous, methodical benchwork and understands that reproducibility and precision are the foundation of scalable, transferable chemistry
Self-starter who can follow, execute, and iteratively improve SOPs, document experiments with care, and proactively communicate

Responsibilities

Assist in route scouting for natural product extraction and isolation, performing focused, reproducible laboratory experiments to establish scalable protocols
Collaborate on cross-functional projects with process chemistry, analytical chemistry, and synthetic biology teams to support isolation strategies for starting materials
Generate data to support external CRO and CMO partners, contributing to scalable enrichment and isolation processes
Produce experimental data and detailed documentation for intellectual property filings
Participate in internal knowledge-sharing and scientific review sessions where experimental learnings are discussed, refined, and codified
Contribute to the development of scalable extraction workflows at the frontier of natural product science and modern biotech
