Teaching responsibilities cover introductory organic chemistry, physical organic chemistry, advanced organic chemistry, and related topics. The role involves mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students while contributing to departmental academic and administrative duties.

Requirements

A Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Material Science, or a relevant field
A strong publication record in top scientific journals
Experience in securing external research funding and engaging in collaborative research projects is preferred
Outstanding teaching skills in topics including introductory organic chemistry, physical organic chemistry, advanced organic chemistry, chemical biology, biochemistry, medicinal chemistry, and spectroscopy of organic molecules
Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and mentoring to students
Complementary expertise with the Department's existing strengths and focus on Materials, Chemical Biology, Spectroscopy, and Synthetic Chemistry

Responsibilities

Conduct research with high impact and make significant contribution to related fields
Deliver excellent teaching in related courses
Publish research findings in reputable scientific journals and present research at conferences
Secure external funding through grant applications and actively participate in collaborative research projects
Teach and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in chemistry courses and research activities
Contribute to academic and administrative duties of the Department
