DE · Full-time · €12,000 – €16,000
About this role
Pirelli is the market leader in the premium and prestige tire segment, one of the world's leading tire manufacturers with Italian roots and a long successful history. The company invests continuously in research and development, focusing on equality, respect, fairness, and responsible use of natural resources alongside safe, high-quality products and sustainability. The Polymer Engineering dual studies program at Hochschule Darmstadt combines engineering know-how with intensive practical experience, starting September 1 with a four-week onboarding.
Participants spend significantly more time in the company than in traditional study models, gaining valuable professional experience. Core activities involve the application, processing, development, construction, and testing of plastics, plastic composite systems, and elastomers. Engineering tasks in plastics and elastomer technology are implemented through extensive practical work, more than double the practice time of standard programs.
Diverse and versatile tasks await in an engaged and motivated team. Flexible working hours support work-life balance and family-career compatibility. An on-site canteen offers healthy and varied cuisine, complemented by behavioral guidelines preventing corruption and discrimination.
Numerous development opportunities are available alongside fair pay, 30 days vacation, vacation bonus, and employee sales. Comprehensive social benefits include company pension, asset-effective benefits, group accident insurance, sports and leisure options, and a fitness program. A dedicated laptop is provided for study and practice phases.
