Revvity seeks a Process Development Chemist to join our dynamic team in Boston, relocating to Hopkinton, MA in 2026. You will contribute to manufacturing synthetic chemical products essential for scientific research worldwide. This full-time role offers a flexible Monday-through-Friday schedule.

In this position, execute product manufacturing per established procedures, record data, interpret results, and validate quality. Utilize traditional synthetic techniques involving solid state, wet, organic, and inorganic chemistry, plus HPLC and analytical analysis. Ensure safe compliance with regulations while supporting lab functions and equipment maintenance.

Work within a production team pushing boundaries in health solutions alongside 11,000+ global colleagues. Participate in transferring and implementing processes for catalog products. Maintain product quality, packaging, and on-time delivery in a clean laboratory environment.

Engage in long-term projects to research and implement new processes, elevating standards as AlphaLISA products enter new markets. Investigate complaints using CAPA systems and respond to tech support inquiries. Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing for better human health outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in traditional synthetic chemical techniques including solid state, wet, organic, and inorganic chemistry
  • Experience with HPLC and analytical analysis for chemical compound production
  • Knowledge of federal and local lab safety regulations and quality control procedures
  • Familiarity with CAPA systems for complaint investigation
  • Ability to interpret experimental data and validate quality
  • Skills in laboratory maintenance, equipment handling, and good laboratory techniques

Responsibilities

  • Execute product manufacturing according to established procedures, record data, interpret results, and validate data quality
  • Utilize traditional synthetic chemical techniques to perform routine procedures involving solid state chemistry, wet chemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, HPLC, and analytical analysis
  • Work safely and in compliance with all applicable federal and local regulations, follow procedures, and perform quality control
  • Ensure products are manufactured on time, within specifications, and at low cost
  • Support general lab functions, maintenance of equipment, product quality, packaging, on-time delivery, workplace cleanliness, and good laboratory techniques
  • Participate in production procedures revision and authorship
  • Research and implement new and improved processes to ensure catalog meets highest standards as AlphaLISA products enter new markets
  • Investigate and respond to complaints, utilize CAPA systems, and reply to inquiries from tech support, customer care, and customers
