Carry out technical work with high quality including daily synthesis according to job hazardous analysis. Document synthesis protocols, observations in lab journals and testing results while managing lab chemicals via GSLO.

Accomplish lab products with basic property test, evaluation and analysis according to standard operating procedures. Contribute to building up and exchange of know-how among teams and regions while securing IP and research reports.

Work with Application Development Team, Technical Product Management, Sales and Marketing across the APAC region. Contribute to growing new business, delivering customer solutions and global know-how exchange.

Requirements

  • Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science or similar.
  • Master degree + 2 years' experience or Bachelor degree + 4 years' experience.
  • Technical skills in completion of assigned tasks.
  • Deliver results under supervision from R&D Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high awareness of safety, compliance and IP for self and working environment.
  • Take care of lab equipment and actively contribute to lab safety and housekeeping.
  • Contribute to the building up and exchange of know-how among teams and regions while contributing to IP and research reports.
  • Carry out technical work with high quality, including daily synthesis according to job hazardous analysis.
  • Document synthesis protocols, observations in lab journals, testing results and lab chemicals via GSLO management.
  • Accomplish lab products with basic property test, evaluation and analysis according to standard operating procedure.
  • Train interns and new junior colleagues.
  • Adjust recipes according to polymer requirement independently.
