About this role

We are seeking a talented and passionate scientist to join our dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative team. Using strong organic synthesis skills, you will contribute to developing and supporting novel chemistry solutions for the advancement of our RNAi platform.

In this onsite role based in Cambridge, MA, you will develop and execute syntheses of novel chemical modifications and delivery modalities for siRNA. Your day-to-day work involves multi-step synthesis, purification, and structural analysis of intermediate compounds, as well as troubleshooting and maintaining critical instrumentation such as NMR, HPLC, and LCMS.

You will work closely with internal RNAi platform teams and external collaborators to discuss project plans and coordinate activities for delivery and activity determination of siRNA. The successful candidate will have a strong background in synthetic organic chemistry with a creative mindset, independent problem-solving ability, and a desire to enable discoveries at the bench.

This role offers the opportunity to apply your knowledge to new areas of study and thrive in a team environment. You will analyze, interpret, and organize data to prepare clearly articulated experimental reports and communicate results at internal meetings.
