Process Development Chemist

LGC Axolabs is a leading provider of CRO/CDMO capability to the therapeutic oligonucleotide discovery and development industry. The Petaluma facility focuses on manufacturing scale-up and production to cGMP of multigram to kilograms of API for pre-clinical and clinical development. Join our newly commissioned state-of-the-art therapeutic oligonucleotide GMP manufacturing facility in Petaluma, CA.

Work in a Process Development lab to develop, transfer, and trouble-shoot processes for smooth transfer to GMP and non-GMP manufacturing. Collaborate closely with analytical and production chemists to solve manufacturing issues. This role supports discovery, pre-clinical, clinical trials, and scale-up manufacture.

With around 70 staff and two manufacturing trains, Axolabs offers flexible manufacturing services drawing on expertise from our Kulmbach site. Our California site has been involved in oligonucleotide synthesis for three decades, establishing therapeutics activity in 2019. Work collaboratively and responsively with clients to achieve objectives using bioinformatics, biology, chemistry, manufacturing, and analytical services.
