We are seeking a Senior Scientist to join our Synthetic chemistry team. Ideal candidates thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative interdisciplinary research environment. You will develop, synthesize, and characterize future sequencing reagents with enhanced biocompatibility, stability, and sequencing performance.

As part of Illumina’s Research and Development team, you will create new sequencing methods and reagents with world-class performance, stability, and robustness. Responsibilities include designing and executing experiments, collecting data, performing analysis, drawing conclusions, and presenting to key stakeholders. You will play an important role in advancing sequencing technologies.
