About this role
The School of Health Sciences at Lasell University seeks a part-time adjunct faculty member for General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry in the upcoming semester. These courses support students majoring in Biology, Biochemistry, Forensic Science, Health Science, and Exercise Science. All listings are for in-person classes with fixed schedules.
Faculty will provide instruction for all sessions utilizing the college philosophy of connected learning. Deliver engaging course material while maintaining an organized Canvas page. Course times cannot be adjusted as students are already registered.

Requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide instruction for all sessions of assigned courses utilizing the college philosophy of connected learning
- Provide a syllabus and course outline to students that clearly communicates course learning outcomes
- Maintain office hours each week and timely communications with students via email and phone
- Keep accurate records of student progress and complete mid-semester and final grade reports
- Maintain an organized Canvas page
- Deliver engaging course material for General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry
- Teach in-person classes to health sciences majors
