Oakland, US · Internship · $50,000 – $70,000

About this role

Remedy is a startup committed to addressing the planet’s enormous challenge of environmentally contaminated land. Our mission is to build massively scalable, automated soil remediation solutions using novel integrated chemical, hardware, and software systems that destroy harmful pollutants.

Analytical chemistry drives our ability to measure, understand, and accelerate environmental remediation. We are developing analytical workflows that quantify trace organic and inorganic pollutants across diverse matrices including soil, sediment, and water.

The Analytical Chemist Intern supports laboratory analysis, data interpretation, and environmental chemistry projects. This role involves assisting with experiment design, sample preparation, chemical analysis, and testing field-collected samples while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Interns gain hands-on exposure to analytical techniques and applied chemistry in environmental contexts. The position offers practical experience in a startup environment focused on real-world soil remediation challenges.
