Requirements

  • Completion or near completion of a PhD in organic/bio-organic chemistry
  • Experience of medicinal chemistry hit-to-lead and/or lead optimisation
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry techniques to synthesise and isolate compounds
  • Ability to develop independent research programs in drug discovery
  • Demonstrated capacity for high-quality research publications
  • Skills in collaborating on interdisciplinary research projects
  • Experience supporting student supervision and researcher mentoring
