Requirements

Completion or near completion of a PhD in organic/bio-organic chemistry
Experience of medicinal chemistry hit-to-lead and/or lead optimisation
Theoretical and practical knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry techniques to synthesise and isolate compounds
Ability to develop independent research programs in drug discovery
Demonstrated capacity for high-quality research publications
Skills in collaborating on interdisciplinary research projects
Experience supporting student supervision and researcher mentoring
