About this role

Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemistry at The University of Hong Kong. The position commences as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

The appointee will work on the research area of Organic Functional Materials under the supervision of Professor J.Z. Liu. The role requires a strong background in organic chemistry and materials chemistry to advance functional material development.

Applicants must possess a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or equivalent. Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese is essential along with a strong sense of responsibility and organizational skills.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Conduct research on Organic Functional Materials
Apply expertise in organic chemistry and materials chemistry to experimental work
Work independently on assigned research projects under Professor J.Z. Liu

Coordinate research activities with demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
