The Analytical Chemist will perform physical testing of samples to support pharmaceutical formulation development. Responsibilities include data processing, interpretation, documentation, and calibration and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment. They will also conduct laboratory support activities such as weekly eye-wash checks, shipping, and chemical inventory.
The role requires experience with physical characterization techniques like Powder X-ray diffraction, thermal analysis, and spectroscopy. GMP experience is preferred, along with powder characterization and lab automation skills. Candidates should be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Requirements
- Completed bachelor's degree in chemistry or another scientific concentration
- Experience with physical characterization techniques such as Powder X-ray diffraction, thermal analysis, vibrational spectroscopy (FTIR, Raman), and microscopy
- GMP experience is preferred
- Experience with powder characterization techniques to measure particle size, powder flow, and surface area
- Experience with laboratory automation tools
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel)
- Ability to multi-task, be self-motivated, and perform duties with minimal supervision
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Responsibilities
