About this role

Moses Lake Industries, Inc. (MLI) is a rapidly growing producer of ultra-pure chemical products, serving the semiconductor and flat-panel screen industries worldwide. You will work for a midsized company with great people and a history of steady growth and profitability. Prepare to contribute in an exciting and rewarding environment.

Assemble, disassemble, clean, load, and maintain chemical reactors while performing hands-on laboratory experiments with solid, liquid, and gaseous chemicals, some hazardous. Prepare samples to minimize contamination in laboratory, clean booth, or clean room environments. Use common lab equipment like glassware, Schlenk lines, and pressure vessels.

Prioritize safety for self, team, and environment by applying chemical hygiene practices, following policies for safe chemical handling, and using protective controls. Read chemical literature and SDS to identify and mitigate risks from toxic, flammable, or reactive materials. Consistently maintain clean, organized work areas.

Analyze data from experiments using tools like MS Excel, JMP, Origin, and ChemDraw to identify trends and insights. Conduct literature reviews and develop safe synthetic strategies for target molecules. Contribute to product development through SOPs, reports, and intellectual property protection.
