Daily work centers on research in synthetic organic and organometallic chemistry within a lab-based environment at Camperdown Campus. Manage laboratory operations and instrumentation while contributing to high-impact publications. Support teaching and student supervision alongside grant writing efforts.

Requirements

  • PhD in synthetic organic and/or organometallic chemistry, or equivalent combination of relevant training and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize, purify, and characterize organic and/or organometallic molecules containing main group elements
  • Experience with boron and Group 15 elements in synthesis
  • Track record in synthetic chemistry research
  • Ability to conduct multidisciplinary collaborative research
