About this role
At Parexel, we share a common goal to improve the world's health. As a Scientist III in Analytical Chemistry and Molecular Biology, you will support high-throughput pre-formulation, pre-qualification, robustness, and admixture testing for biologics. This full-time role is a long-term assignment onsite at a client site in Rahway, NJ.
Day-to-day duties include the analysis of samples through reporting and documentation following appropriate methods, protocols, and procedures. You will manage samples, monitor controlled temperature units, and ensure all laboratory safety and hygiene practices are followed. Experience with separations for large molecules or plate-based assays is essential.
You will join the CMC Operations group within Parexel FSP, working alongside pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies to develop and deliver novel therapies. The environment emphasizes adherence to scientific protocols, accurate reagent preparations, and basic instrument troubleshooting.

Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology or similar life sciences
- Scientist 3 level: B.S. with 3 to 5 years of experience; M.S. with 1 to 2 years of experience
- Must have separations experience for large molecules or plate-based assay experience
- Experience analyzing biologics including monoclonal antibodies and/or therapeutic proteins using HPLC/UPLC, Protein A Titer, SEC, IEX, AEX, CEX, HIC, CE-SDS, cIEF, ELISA, qPCR, or high-throughput liquid handling systems
- Basic instrument troubleshooting ability
- Ability to follow complicated scientific protocols and procedures
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
Responsibilities
