Postdoctoral Researcher - Synthetic Medicinal Chemistry

The Weaver Medicinal Chemistry Research Lab at Krembil Brain Institute designs therapeutic molecules for neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer’s Disease. As Postdoctoral Researcher, you will synthesize small molecules as drug platforms.

You will conduct multi-step synthesis using state-of-the-art techniques and maintain detailed lab books and data records. Assist in grant applications, publications, and supervise students as required. Follow safety protocols, manage lab supplies, and update chemical inventory.

Join a multi-disciplinary team of computational and synthetic chemists, biochemists, molecular biologists, and neuroscientists. Collaborate across disciplines, integrating non-chemistry data in a large, diverse research group. Work closely with computational chemists and biologists at Krembil Discovery Tower.
