About this role

We are looking for a Senior STEM Content Analyst to join our CDDI Chemistry team. This role involves content analysis for the Cortellis Drug Discovery Intelligence (CDDI) product. The team of 17 members is based across Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Barcelona, reporting to the Chemistry Team Manager.

You will review editorial work, provide feedback, and resolve content discrepancies. Support quality improvements by evaluating assessors, addressing knowledge gaps, and analyzing root causes for errors. Draft documentation for product workflows and recommend edits.

The global team includes associate content editors, content editors, and senior content editors across India and Spain. Analyze journals, patents, and meeting abstracts for CDDI, capturing drug chemical structures, mechanisms of action, and therapeutic activities. Hybrid working system combines office and digital workplace.

Train and onboard new team members to meet targets and quality standards. Initiate projects to enhance content and processes. Self-train on cross processes to support critical content delivery and minimize customer risk.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in relevant Scientific or Technological subject (General Chemistry/Organic Chemistry)
  • 5 Years of Relevant Experience in medicinal chemistry reference analysis
  • Strong understanding of scientific chemistry literature, including patents, clinical trials, and company pipeline documents
  • Demonstrated expertise in core chemistry concepts
  • Proficiency in chemical structure drawing
  • Ability to independently manage and own Chemistry-related policies
  • Experience with SQL query language
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Review the editorial work of others and provide constructive and timely feedback
  • Research and resolve content discrepancies and proactively identify issues with ideas for resolution
  • Support quality improvements by evaluating quality control assessors and addressing knowledge gaps
  • Analyze root causes for errors and provide corrective and preventive actions
  • Draft documentation related to product workflows and recommend edits or amendments
  • Investigate and assist with resolution of issues for internal and external customers
  • Train and onboard new team members in core tasks and mentor them to achieve targets and quality standards
  • Initiate and support projects that enhance content and processes
