Requirements

  • Currently studying an Undergraduate Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or similar
  • Completed a minimum of 2 years of undergraduate degree but will not have graduated at start of placement
  • Enrolled at a UK or ROI University for the duration of placement
  • Written and spoken fluency in English
  • Not eligible if already graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree and studying postgraduate Masters

Responsibilities

  • Execute synthetic chemistry reactions in R&D projects
  • Perform analytical chemistry techniques to characterize compounds
  • Analyze and manage experimental data
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on live assignments
  • Solve problems in chemical synthesis and analysis
  • Record and report findings through written and verbal communication
  • Apply time management to project tasks
