About this role

Are you looking for a new challenge as a Process Chemist in Nanjing? Cooperate closely with the technical manager and contribute to every step in projects, from basic engineering and detailed engineering to construction, function testing, and commissioning for emulsion lines. Communicate with the project team to clarify concepts, define materials, processes, testing plans, and technical topics.

Support applications for official approval through safety analysis and environmental impact studies. Set up dispersion testing and handle know-how transferring. Assist in commissioning activities for dispersion lines during the project phase.

In normal production, manage EHSS and Product Stewardship for related areas to ensure compliance with company policies, national laws, and regulations. Oversee reaction safety and product safety for the VAE plant. Monitor production processes closely, identify and solve problems, and propose modification schemes to optimize processes.

Work with international teams, demonstrating a global mindset as a team player. Direct workers in inspection and production activities for optimal control. Implement LEAN and TPM programs, design quality and process control training, and investigate customer complaints.

Requirements

  • Fluent oral and written English skills
  • Bachelor degree or above in chemical engineering or chemistry
  • More than 4 years working experience in dispersion production, engaged in quality assurance and process control
  • Minimum 2 years experience in production supervision or quality assurance or process engineering position in multinational company
  • Knowledge in dispersion polymerization process or other related chemical process
  • Knowledge in SAP, lean manufacturing, TPM highly preferred
  • Management, communication and problem solving skills
  • Able to work with international team, global mindset, team player
