As Managing Director in our expanding Global Engineering Sciences team, you will work at the forefront of complex engineering challenges analyzing failures of products from LNG production/storage, chemical processing, power generation, and new construction projects.
Leverage diverse technical expertise and industry knowledge of structures and products to identify solutions that drive performance and safety. The role seeks a Polymers Engineer or Scientist Leader with proven experience in team building, team-based project execution, and top-notch client management, ideally with hands-on experience in industrial facilities like LNG plants and chemical processing plants.

This all-encompassing role involves attracting and winning new business in expert witness and strategic consulting, contributing to growth of the Polymers Science & Engineering practice through recruiting talented staff, mentoring the team, and overseeing project management and budgets.
Requirements
- Established track record for business development and existing client-base
- PhD or MS degree in Polymer Science or Engineering, or with research in Polymers; degrees in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science & Engineering
- Approximately 10 years of work experience
- Previously testified in deposition, trial, arbitration or hearings
- Excellent expert report writing skills to complement analytics
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent listening, verbal, written, technical, and presentation skills
- Deep hands-on experience with industrial facilities including commissioning of LNG plants, chemical processing plants, power generation plants
Responsibilities
- Analyze failures of products from industries including LNG production/storage, chemical processing, power generation, and new construction projects
- Attract and win new business opportunities in expert witness and strategic consulting
- Contribute to growth of Polymers Science & Engineering practice by recruiting talented staff
- Mentor and drive growth of Polymers Engineering team
- Provide project management and project budget oversight
- Build teams and execute team-based projects
- Manage top-notch client relationships
- Apply background in mitigation of dust and explosive materials in industrial facilities
