As an intern on the Integrated Discovery Research team, synthesize biologically active compounds, including the design and execution of synthetic routes, purification of final compounds, and participation in analog design. Plan and execute experiments to support research activities. Contribute to the discovery of important new drug candidates within a multidisciplinary team.

Receive training to use key instruments including LCMS, NMR, and prep HPLC. Learn to effectively present research findings to the Integrated Discovery Research team. Gain hands-on experience advancing transformative science in precision oncology.

Requirements

  • Working towards bachelor’s (B.S., B.A., or equivalent) degree in Chemistry or related field
  • Strong communication skills
  • Well-organized
  • High attention to detail
  • Completed 2nd year organic chemistry course and associated lab course
  • Basic familiarity with NMR, HPLC, and mass spectrometry from teaching labs or prior research
